Pisces, the boundless . . .
Pisces is not easy to define, because any definition states shape and boundary, and Pisces is that aspect of life that knows no boundaries. It’s like being in the middle of the ocean, way below the surface waves, but nowhere near the sea-bed, nor any shore. There is no reference point that would indicate you are moving, so the Pisces experience can feel like being stuck. But the current has us in hand, and moves us where it will. The Pisces’ current affects us on many levels of human sensitivity: water itself, blood and lymph; what is commonly called the psychic world with all the glamour of unseen causes; the emotions that make us teary, like grief, or tears of joy (as opposed to firey passions); and the spiritual planes where our soul’s journey is assured and assisted. Whatever it is for you, this month focuses on that.
Depending what planets or Houses are connected with Pisces in your chart, this is where you will be open to emotion within yourself and around you, probably not knowing quite how much of it is yours. We tend to experience any difficulties here as confusion and uncertainty, and there’s a tendency to martyr ourself in that area of life. Pisces’ ruler is Neptune, whose position in your chart may indicate the place where you are intuitive, have gut feelings or clairvoyance, feel devotion to ideals of service, or express artistic creativity.
This Pisces New Moon - emotional freedom
Uranus spends seven years in each Zodiac sign, and is now in its last year of Pisces since entering in March 2003. The House(s) in your birth chart where you have Pisces, shows the area of life where you will have been feeling Uranus energy in recent years, a process of developing through ways you had not foreseen. Surprises, flashes of intuition, new ideas and realisations, losses and un-looked-for gains, are all likely within the activities and relationships that particular House relates to.
This is important now, because this New Moon conjuncts Uranus - meaning that this month, any changes that have been waiting in the wings to manifest, will be coming to your attention, needing to be acknowledged. Being in Pisces, these changes could be in your attitudes and responses to emotional situations that crop up. Religious and spiritual understanding may get updated.
Upbeat energy restored
From 7 March (Venus entered Aries), you may have become aware that you have put others before your own needs. This new attitude could create misunderstandings or clashes around ’selfishness’ (as Venus opposed Saturn and squared Pluto). Warmth, positivity and humour (Mars direct in Leo trining the New Moon) will ensure that the flow of communication is not stopped by what may have arisen. Personal wishes need to be incorporated, even if one can’t see at first how to do this. Without our human preferences we have no interface for relating to our world. The present Aquarian influence ensures that we learn to appreciate the preferences of others, as well as our own, recognising that we are not in a position to judge others’ life experience.
So the way to keep from arguments and upset will be humour and expression of friendship - kindness and respect, as always, work as a grounding for all relationships, and are emphasised this month (Mars in Leo in harmony with Saturn in Libra). Mars has just begun to move forwards again, so there will be much more energy available to achieve any desired or needed changes.
Tune in, and share what you get
With, We also have the opportunity to be fully aware of new ways that can be incorporated, and the changes we could make that would open up new possibilities (Mercury with the New Moon and Uranus). Meditation and contemplation around any problem issues may provide the conduit for new ideas, but they may just as easily come in while you’re reading a book or walking down the street. Last month, writing down your inspirations was as reminders for when they became relevant; this month, it will be valuable to sit and write as a way of opening the door for conscious inspiration to poor through. Initiating discussions would also help the flow of inspiration, but it is just as likely to bring a flow of stored emotional disclosures and reactions, which might be quite surprising!
This month we really could become aware of the Oneness working through all our differences, really see that basically we all want the same things - happiness, love, understanding, and to be effective in our movement towards achieving that. Within the arms of spirit (God/the Light/all that is forever the truth) there is no place where Love is not. When we don’t have that inner certainty, it is because we have pulled closed the door to it within ourselves. Uranus and Mercury on this New Moon in Pisces gives us the opportunity to open that door and feel, even if only for moments, the flood of joy that accompanies our merging with that all-encompassing Love.
True freedom
So let this be the month you open yourself on any level where you have felt stuck or trapped. Just relax and open to not knowing how things can sort themselves out. Be prepared to allow the stuff of life to flow away from you to make space for the next things to arrive. As far as you can manage, be without judgement, and without fear. But also be prepared to wait before acting on the new input - Uranus may bring and take away, but it doesn’t help us deal with the resulting situation! To use this influence, we need to maintain a measure of detachment from outcomes - and, to hold that attitude, a high level of trust is needed in the love of the spiritual current that is carrying us along.
True freedom is an inner state. Regardless of our personality pulling away from what it fears and towards what it desires, inner freedom is the ability to choose your action in the light of wisdom and service.

Contemplation for this New Moon in Pisces
Be truly quiet for a while . . .
gentleness,
the sweet harmony of breath and heart beat.
You are all.
You are a doorway
through which infinity passes,
like a rushing wind
through the stillness of a breath-less day.
You are nothing but a breath of air
passing this way and that,
in and out.
You are the gathering forces
that create, in every cell,
complexities beyond imagining.
You are the sunlit space
revealing eddies of dust and smoke,
of words and emotions, swirling
in the draught of your every move.
Where is the single word
that could describe you?
If you have wings,
to where could you fly
where you are not already,
waiting to be discovered?
Love yourself -
be in wonder and amazement.
Open your heart,
that vessel of liquid light,
letting light spill over all you conceive.
Creation bows to the quiet one
holding truth lightly in their hand,
while the pulsing music of life is stilled,
and silence wraps this
. . . emptiness . . .
in peace.

Dear People:
A shorter version of this New Moon letter, with chart itself and the Contemplation, can be seen and heard - the quickest way in is to open my website www.soulastrology.com and click the green button which says ‘Margaret on youtube.com’. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.
My visit to Scholes, Leeds, on 5 and 6 March, is getting closer. I think the workshop is almost full now, but there are still some spaces for readings. The person to contact is Gwen Hanson on 0113-2655810 or e-mail gwenhanson@talktalk.net. The subject of the workshop is ‘SELF AND SERVICE’ and how these two can be compatible in your life.

Last month
Jupiter in Pisces seems to be emphasising what has been gathering in our unconscious space, emotionally and physically - many people are into clearing their homes of what has suddenly become an intolerable amount of ’stuff’ - clearing space for what you really want to be surrounded by.
In case you felt the last couple of weeks were particularly intense, I want to share with you Philip Sedgwick’s explanation and description of the last full Moon. He wrote: (in his GALASTRO newsletter)
This full moon is a perigee moon, meaning the Moon is full when at perigee - its closest proximity to Earth in its orbit. The moon reaches perigee every 27.55 days . . . and every now and again, the full moon and perigee coincide. Last month the full moon appeared 14% wider and 30% brighter. This effect maximizes gravitational pressures between the moon and Earth while they stand in more or less direct alignment with the Sun. This commonly brings higher tides, stronger storms and more than the average zaniness from those who feel lunar effects most strongly.
This New Moon in Aquarius
This month is largely about bringing new inspirational solutions to extensive human suffering (New Moon on Chiron/Neptune all at 25/26 Aquarius). The world is watching the earthquake zone, and hopefully learning from the difficulties in helping supportively. Let this be a practice run for whatever happens next, wherever on our Earth the need arises. What is learnt in this situation will make future needs much more smoothly answered.
This is a time for the healing of any loss of faith in ourselves, in humanity as a species, or in the wonderful love of which all is a manifestation. Any inspiration this month needs to be listened for in quiet moments, and carefully registered, because we may not immediately see its relevance to what’s going on. (The New Moon itself doesn’t connect directly with the rest of the planetary pattern, and neither does its ruling planet, Uranus.) In order to remember the received wisdom from dreams and meditations, we would do well to put them in note form on the wall, so they are there to inform us when the need arises.
Valentine’s Day!
This is an opportunity to feel and express that complete love and appreciation from the heart that does us all so much good. It’s very appropriate that Venus should be in Pisces at this time, because Pisces allows loving relating to be unlimited, unconditional. Wonderfully, this year, Venus meets Jupiter at this time (exact on 17 February) emphasising the emotions, and potentially expanding our hearts beyond recognition! We could tap into loving everything, although that’s not easy to do. A more accessible thing to do was shared with me by a very dear friend of mine in Hawaii. He suggested that we can use Valentine’s Day to focus on anyone we love, not just the person you feel romantic about. So choose someone you can stretch to loving unconditionally, family or friend, and let yourself really experience the feeling and the sharing. As we are beginning with Valentine’s Day, we can play with this idea all month!
Let love in
This month, love (or, oddly, the drive for financial security!) becomes the reconciling force in all those situations where we are trying to accommodate, or orchestrate, changes. We may find it easier to let go of cherished principles or possessions when faced with others’ needs being greater than our own, or, more selfishly, when we recognise at last that we will benefit from the extra space. (Saturn squaring Pluto is suggesting that they have to go - Venus/Jupiter sextiling Pluto, and Mercury trining Saturn, all helps.)
Once we release the block of possessiveness, we can see how to help those in need. Letting go and giving become joyful experiences. After all, what we tend to cling onto keeps us separate from others; whereas sharing brings us close - we feel the touch of spirit in our relating (Mars in Leo sextiles Saturn, together pointing at Venus/Jupiter).
Wisdom from a detached point of view
From 10 February we’ve had the opportunity to step back from central issues, which is necessary to see what’s going on more clearly (Mercury into Aquarius). So we will be more focused, and communicating better, about how we are handling these testing situations. Potentially we are able to make more concerted efforts, and that’s when the joyful energy makes our service so much more effective. (Mercury opposite Mars.)
Another thing: most people have a tendency to criticise those in the front line - the leaders. As long as their intentions are kind, respectful, humanitarian, we need to allow leaders to direct operations. The Aquarian approach of everyone-being-equal-in-value can produce a sense that any leader is just being autocratic, whereas the true Aquarian way is to allow those with the widest vision to lead, while the rest of us assist them using our own abilities. Let the able direct operations, and only confront them when their decisions fall short of humanitarian ideals.
This month (with Mercury trine Saturn) communication should be clear and competent, with potentially inspired ideas finding the way to manifest - as long as we don’t let negativity block the view.
And we will all be checking our decisions to make sure that our exuberant moments don’t endanger our health or well-being. It is not unkind to yourself to resist eating an entire box of chocolates in one sitting; this is the kindness of appropriate discipline!
. . . just a thought
Wherever you have been feeling blocked, let every aspect of the situation float into your mind. Accept each bit as what is, and bring it into your loving heart. Without the push and pull of desire, fear and anger, all the pieces can fall into their correct relationship with each other. Life will move things along.
______________________________________________________
Contemplation for this New Moon in Aquarius
In the long run
there is nothing to fear.
But human experience tends to be of the moment by moment
content of awareness,
and you feel it like sand through the hour-glass
slipping out of your control.
Who are you when you grasp at the sand?
And who are you really?
Relax that ‘grip’ - your fearful hold on survival -
and feel the flow of life moving constantly
from spirit into everyday activity.
Be with the truth of each moment, accepting and open.
Watch the myriad ways life appears,
as the dance of light through dust motes and river beds -
and let your heart love it all.
With love,
Margaret Koolman

“language of energy”.
Everything is energy and our 70 trillion cells are receivers/ transmitters of that power, 24/7. The only program that has any confusion about this is the frontal lobe of the brain that has been trained to live and reference life in a minimized illusionary perception.
We are going to reference the powerful energy fields of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn and the Elements they are activating at this time so we can have a better understanding of the field of consciousness that all life is participating in.
Having an awareness of this field of consciousness will support you to know the “stage of life” that you are living with and how to make choices that will enhance your wellness on every level.
This decade is about recovery - recovery of your Heart and Soul and your true harmonious life with this Sacred Earth.
Suggestions for your participation in teleconference class:

Everything must change…Nothing stays the same…
Have you heard these words before? They are words to a song and if these words are not familiar to you, it doesn’t matter, you can just look at life and know this is the theme right now…Nothing stays the same.
CHANGE is life and it is happening everywhere, in ways we never imagined.
From an astrological view, let’s check in with our old buddy Saturn and see what’s up in the next couple of days.
Saturn is truly our buddy - our stabilizer for structures and systems, inside our body and our environment.
Since September 7, 2007, Saturn entered the Element of Earth through the sign of Virgo, whose planetary “ruler” is Mercury.
What does all of this mean?
- Virgo is the energy of health, healing, service, animals and the details of daily life - our physical world/body and daily order.
- Mercury is the “messenger of the Gods” - the bridge between the Universe and the frontal lobe of our brain that is dependent on memory and understanding.
When Mercury goes retrograde, we get all frustrated because communication seems disrupted, appointment fall through, we can’t remember details etc. That is because retrograde Mercury is bridging with our intuition and the frontal lobe of our brain and ordinary thinking seems to be on pause.
So for 2 years, collectively we have been experiencing some or all of the above in different ways in our lives.
Two more days, on October 29,2009, and something will change.
Saturn leaves the Earth sign of Virgo and enters the Air sign of Libra. This will not be happening again for 30 years.
Remember, Saturn is about systems and structures and stabilizes our foundation for renewal…this means consciousness, intentions, focus, belief systems, choices, behavior and action as well.
For 2 years, this energy has been focused in our cognitive minds where we have been making so many decisions based on so many changes that feel like a tsunami of consciousness in our daily lives.
We needed to make new choices and create new structures to be prepared for Saturn to enter Libra and receive Venus for the next 3 years.
Does this mean we can actually “get out of our heads” for a while and “into our hearts”? Yes, as a matter of fact, from October 30, 2009 to October 6, 2012, Saturn will be in Libra, the first time in 30 years.
By Element alone, this change makes a difference. All Elements - Fire, Earth and Water are dependent on Air; thus all life on earth in in relationship to Air.
- Libra is devoted to beauty, order, balance, harmony and justice in relating - on every level of life. This is the energy of the true Peace Keeper.
Mercury is about choices, decisions and action. (Masculine principle)
Venus is about receiving - intuition, love, and creativity. (Feminine Principle)
As a collective, we have the opportunity to consciously create balance inside and out between our masculine/feminine principle. This balance is essential if we are to survive because it is a basic foundation of sustainable living. It is about being able to breath in and breath out…the balance for all life.
So ask yourself:
- How prepared am I to allow life to become more gracious? Less stressful?
- Am I open to receive more love in my life? More creativity? More possibility and potential?
- Do I really want to live peacefully? With myself? My partner? My Children? My family? My community? My nation? My Global Family?
- Am I willing to release the conflict between my head and heart?
- Will I allow my health and happiness to be renewed through forgiveness and compassion?
- Can I compliment rather than criticize and complain about others and myself?
- Do I believe in loving and being loved?
And the list will continue, as we receive more breath and become more alive in all areas of our life.
Life is very different now than 30 years ago when Saturn was in Libra. You and I and our daily thoughts, choices and action will determine the sustainability of the next 30 years for our children and ourselves.
Will you choose Love? The power of Venus is with you 24/7 for the next 3 years to practice this as a lifestyle.
Blessings in your choices and actions,
Kay

POWERFUL ASTROLOGICAL CHANGES
With
Kay Snow-Davis
Soul Purpose Astrologer
Living your own life in today’s world, no one has to tell you, EVERYTHING is changing. It is so evident on so many levels.
So let’s look at these wonderful supportive changes that are happening in the Universe, astrologically.
Saturn travels around the Zodiac every 30 years.
Saturn is our stabilizer. Helps us stay present, accountable for our daily life, structures and systems, inside our body and outside in our daily life.
Since 9/7/07, Saturn has been in the Earth sign of Virgo. Virgo supports our health, healing and service in our daily life in very practical ways. Virgo also influences the energy of our digestive system.
Have you noticed that you life has been FULL of daily details, demanding your attention? How about that meal? Did it not digest easily…just felt like it “sat in your stomach”…or you felt bloated and had gas pains?
Saturn in Virgo is engaging our conscious mind (Mercury) to pay attention to the details of life, whether that is driving, walking, eating, working, playing…or all of the above.
Saturn will leave the Earth sign of Virgo 10/29/09 and will not be visiting there again for 30 years.
So whatever you notice you have been experiencing these last 2 years, this is an important classroom of learning and growing in conscious awareness of your daily life.
We are preparing to open a new doorway of energy, 10/30/09 when Saturn enters the Air sign of Libra. Libra is devoted to - Beauty, Order, Balance, Harmony and Justice. Saturn in Libra works through the heart, through the passion and power of Venus.
Libra is influential in supporting the kidneys and the lower back. The more we live in our heart, release our negativity, fears and judgments, the more we support ourselves (lower back) and our kidneys (adrenals), elimination.
What ever you are focusing on in these last 2 years, you will now have the opportunity to return to your heart, compassion and cooperation and include those life conditions - for your grace and the blessings to others as well.
It is time for us as a species to line up with the power of Venus/Libra on this our HOME planet and realize, all of our relations know the natural laws of living on planet Earth, for their species. Only the two leggeds “lost their way” - through their conscious minds making up illusions and believing these illusions were actually true.
It is now time, to come home to our heart and soul. Venus in Libra has not been available in this same way in 30 years. It is a wonderful Universal support to assist healing the wounds of the heart, the Earth and all our relations.
Blessings to all life - in all ways.

We have just come through an astrological gateway, that I called a Window Of Grace, June 14 - November 27, 2008. The reason this time period is so significant is that this participation with Pluto in Sagittarius will not happen again for 246 years.
We are living in defining moments of transformation on more levels than our conscious mind realizes, and this is one of them.
When a major planet changes position or elements it has a profound affect on all life here on planet Earth.
We are now going to be living with the powerful energy of Earth for the next 15 years, with Pluto in Capricorn. What does that mean?
This relationship with Earth will not happen again for 246 years. This is once in a lifetime of great opportunity for each and every one of us.
That will be our focus on this call. See the details below. I sure hope you can join us.
